Congratulations to our Special Project colleagues on being chosen as finalists for Construction Manager of the Year at the prestigious 2024 CIOB awards.
Joining more that 80 construction managers and organisations nominated across 13 categories, our Special Projects trio have been selected for their outstanding management of recent projects:
Kat for her work helming the beautiful and poignant Remember Me Covid-19 memorial in the North Transept of St Paul’s Cathedral; Nick for his stewardship of the Elizabeth Tower, a complete five-year restoration of the national icon; and David for his leadership of 80 Strand, the renovation of an art deco fixture on the Thames to meet the needs of a modern workforce.
With a comprehensive and demanding application process, being nominated for these awards, now in their 45th year, is a very significant achievement and we wish each of them the best of luck in their respective categories. Once the gold and silver medals have been awarded in each grouping, an overall winner will then be crowned ‘Construction Manager of the Year’.
Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) will host the prestigious event, formerly known as the Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYA).
